Ammo is the clown of our family. He’s very vocal, probably likes the sound of his own voice. LOVES his toy mice and plays fetch – even knows how to do it by himself! He’s still trying to figure out how to reach the icemaker button on our fridge – he likes to play with ice cubes. He’s the sweetest little guy with the pinkest toe-beans, loves people, and he loves his fur-brothers very much. He will be the first one to greet you at the door! Sometimes he has tummy issues – no matter how much I try to force (in his mind) “disgusting goop” on his feet to eat, which can help his belly. Or try to get him to eat slower. There are going to be challenges in his life. 99% of the time he’s good. However, we have had two instances where these challenges have been scary to see. Happy Paws Australia has been a lifesaver financially. We all know these situations happen at the worst time. A few months ago, Ammo started to vomit violently and became lethargic immediately afterward. We took him to the veterinarian and got him the help he needed to get through it. To date, we’ve paid about $730, Happy Paws Australia has paid close to $800. Financial. Life. Saver. Within a week he was back to his goofy self. Which made me a happy fur-mama. We love our fur-babies so much and would do anything for them. Words can’t describe how amazing it is to be with Happy Paws Australia – to have them by your side when emergencies happen. I used to worry so much about the costs – now, all my focus is on what the vet says and what needs to be done to get my fur-babies better in those challenging times.
